- Standalone: Rolling Realms Redux is a standalone game that features the same rules and full compatibility with its predecessor, Rolling Realms, but with 12 new realms inspired by popular games from other publishers, a printed version of the living rulebook that will include explanations for all realms (original, new, and promo), a special feature for solo players, and a box designed to fit all realms ever released (printed and planned) sorted by player.
- Gameplay: In Rolling Realms, players compete to earn the most stars in a series of minigames over 3 rounds. Each turn, one player rolls 2 dice, and all players use the dice results on their realm cards to generate resources and earn stars. After 3 rounds, the player with the most stars wins!
- Unique Realms: All 12 realms in Rolling Realms Redux are 100% new and unique to this specific product. They were not in Rolling Realms, nor are they promos (past or future). Realms include: Planet Unknown, Legacy of Yu, Atiwa, poker, SpaceShipped, Wonderland’s War, Tidal Blades, Meadow, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Flamecraft, Dog Park, and The Guild of Merchant Explorers.
- Quick to Play: Play with 1-6 players in about 30 minutes with a 3 minute set up time. Easy to learn and teach, and it can scale to the amount of time you have as there are different rounds to play. Want a short game? Just play one round. Want a longer game? Play 3 rounds.
- Similar to Yahtzee: Roll dice and keep track of the numbers you need. Beautifully designed by Jamey Stegmaier (Tapestry) and Karel Titeca of Automa Games (Rolling Realms). Illustrated by Miles Bensky (Red Rising) and Marius Petrescu (Rolling Realms).
- Reusable Sheets: This is a roll-and-write game, meaning that players will write on the game components using dry-erase markers.
- Solo Play: Features an Automa to play against in a 1-player game for a fun solitaire experience. The Automa simulates an opponent for you to compete against, while your game as a player remains the same. On the Automa’s turn, flip a card to see what action it takes.
- Combine for Higher Player Count: Multiple copies of this game, the original Rolling Realms, Rolling Realms promo packs, or the print and play version on the Stonemaier website, combined together can increase the player count as needed to be infinitely scaling.
- Thematically Designed Mechanisms: Every realm is a mini game designed around another game and a mechanism in that game. Each realm feels like a distilled version of the game they are based off of.
